Gravity can be verified with math, a non brainlet tier argument however would be that gravity is actually part of a larger system and doesn't really work how we think it does, I.e. it's actually some form of electromagnetism. That would explain the constant nature of the math, how you can get accurate results with varying scenarios, but also provide an argument for gravity not existing as described by Einstine, because it's actually something else and we're only observing a small part of it. It is probably not electromagnetism which we know from various maths people have tried to work out that don't fit, but that's way less brainlet tier then saying its fake because your a nigger who doesn't understand math.

Round earth can also be proven using math, probably the best way to "see the math" is the great pyramids. Shadows curve and you can calculate the diameter of the earth using that. It's pretty simple math that was invented almost 2,000 years ago. You can prove this math reflects curvature as well by making a replica "earth" with Styrofoam and making replica pyramids on that.

His "philosophical" talking point is that none of this can be proven by you, and you're just following a herd, when I proved the opposite is true. We've built a society around math specifically because you can verify it for yourself instead of believing somebody. The real question you should be asking yourself is not wether it's true or not but what this means and if people are looking at it correctly.

I am one of the largest proponents I know of for saying we need more philosophy and less numbers in some ways specifically because of what OP is saying, yes math is always "correct", but the conclusions and forward thinking you draw from that math are not always correct. Yes the earth is round, yes gravity "exists", but what does it mean? As I mentioned there have been multiple people that have tried to prove gravity is not a fabric but more akin to polar forces, so the math shows a celestial body moves in certain ways and from that we theorize its a pulling action, when it could simply be an attraction mechanism and people are missing the larger picture. Do I think that's correct? No not personally, but we need more philosophers to make arguments like that, people to play logical "what-if's". Philosophy is not looking at facts and saying those facts are wrong and lies as this anon said, but instead philosophy is looking at the facts and coming up with methods to think about them in. Philosophy does not make theories, it does not make facts, philosophy is akin to interpreting those things. It's the logic of rationality, turning hard sciences into useful applications. IF x is true, then Y is also true, and Z is false. X Y Z will be your structured arguments, which I gloss over but how you structure your argument is very important.

Basically OP is not clearly defining the argument. I'm sure there is one in there, but his logic is more "we assume X is true, so B is the outcome" with no reasoning or structure, which makes his point collapse in on itself.
