what bank should i use?

i'm likely going to to use chase bank because it's 2nd most popular by locations or "branches". wells fargo is 1st but wells fargo is 4 miles away and chase bank is 0.5 miles away. 3rd is bank of america which is 1.5 miles away which wouldn't make sense i guess. i have closer less popular and local banks as well; which would identify my location more by naming them as well. anyway.

i made other threads here >>16528188 >>16528432 and deleted them before "You can not delete a post this old." this is a follow up thread.

i need a bank because i want to make an online purchase to buy something i an only buy online, and stuff ... so i may need a credit card or debit card or some kind of money card or whatever.

still accepting responses. this is a follow-up. thank you.

i was considering and even experimented in using gift cards. for relative privacy, and stuff. but i think they've been used for crime by criminals that also want privacy for their crimes, or something. at 1st i could only get cards up to $500, so i couldn't even buy a lot with 1 card, since i'd need like $10000 to use it for any long period and like $2000 or at least $1000 to use it for any big purchase; then i could only buy gift cards at $100, then $50, then $25, and now gift cards seem to be disappearing and not allowed at all. in my state? i guess? i don't know. i heard something about it on the news or something. my local news or something. i don't know.

anyway.

some responses i got before.

>For me, it's keeping all of my money in precious metals under my bed

I need a bank to make an online purchase. But thank you.

>Be your own bank, use Bitcoin!

I can't pay for what I want to get with bitcoin. But thank you.

Then someone suggested credit unions. Which I guess are more local? But didn't suggest any or discuss things with me further. They also were insulting me, so I ignored it.

anyway.

here's the follow up.

thank you.

find a local community credit union or regional bank. they offer free checkings accounts with atm reimbursements etc..
big name chains will assess you fees for just about any reason they can get away with.

All right. I sort of want one that's available in a lot of places. Worried about not having access to or switching banks. Maybe online would work out. I don't know. I"ll keep that in mind. Thank you.
