honestly, work in the US. you can usually get the same salary if you're in an in demand field in nominal terms. rent will usually be cheaper (or at least not as fucked up) and our economy dying will, i think, make homes even cheaper.

you've got bungalows in scarborough selling for 500-700k. it's not realistic. they're going to go down at least 20-30%, if markets are actually efficient.

you can literally purchase a house for $5k down payment and $500/month here. The American Southwest is severely underrated and hopefully it will stay that way.
