How to help someone on the wrong path?

One of my cousins is estranged from society, got way too deep into TheDonald type subreddits and im guessing /pol/ as well. Also a fat neet. He literally was sharing this shit during thanksgiving. he's actually starting to buy into jew-conspiracy shit and hating the entire world. Never had a girlfriend i don't think. Lots of self pity. I think he's got a decent brain on him, he's been reading a lot of philosophy and besides that books which sort of enforce the ideals of a strong man on his own destiny. Unfortunately his brain either isn't large enough or he doesn't have the perspective to notice that he is only into these things because he's been fed them on whatever site he's currently made his home. He can't see how fucked it is to read these things and remain a NEET that provides no value.

Obviously, stuff wasn't always alright with me either, otherwise I wouldn't browse this place. In another timeline, I probably ended up like him. But, I ultimately settled with /biz/, /fit/, /lit/, /sci/, etc. I strongly attribute this to a part of me that always says I'm not good enough right now, that I'm capable of more. This is both destructive towards my happiness and also very good for what I get done in life. But not everyone has this. For me, it's the result of maladaptive perfectionism instilled by my dysfunctional parents. But his parents are barely even in his life - they work long hours.

How can I reach out to him? When I was going through my alt-right phase I would have immediately disregarded any advice from family. I got over it though because of my self-hatred and a social life that exposed me to many perspectives. He doesn't have this though. He's lonely and also fat (means he's not interested in self improvement). I totally believe 4chan can be a positive influence, and I think memetics are probably one of the things that can help him the most in his mental position, but how do I guide him toward the good places?
