Real answer: I think there just isn't enough overlap between the types of people that invest big money in Cryptocurrency, and the types of people that want BAT/Brave to succeed.

Cryptocurrency people are very tribal and greedy. They'd side with Google or Facebook over other a project using a cryptocurrency they don't like/don't have bags of. BAT can never be a success story until people start buying into what it's trying to accomplish. The big money crypto whales are mostly BTC maximalists. They hate BAT because it's such a good idea, but it doesn't use BTC. Therefore BAT isn't going to see a dime of that big whale money pumpage. Same goes for tons of other whales - everyone knows it's a good idea, they just hate it because they're greedy small-brained tribalistic cretins.

"It's a shitcoin" is the basic retort for these types of people. Their arguments for WHY it's a shitcoin are always pathetic and paper thin, so they just spout "m-muh shitcoin" and leave it at that.

The only thing that anyone could say that "went wrong" with BAT was its ICO. It was 35 seconds long and people ended up with fuck huge bags.

Otherwise, its almost like this is a legit project taking on giant after giant in its industry. This is no pump and dump. This is no vaporware. Its a battle to take over a dominated market.

Brave is killing it. Its beating Firefox in downloads across mobile app stores, nearing 10 million monthly active users, nearing 340k verified publishers, and has giants like Amazon, eBay, buying ad campaigns.

The clickthrough rate on ads puts Chrome to shame. This will take time and BAT is already taking off faster than most anticipated. This is pretty much like a boomer stock. You're in early now youre going to watch it grow.

>what went wrong
forced KYC corporate zog wallets
not forcing advertisers to buy bat to purchase ads and letting advertisers pay in cash then simply lie and say the cash goes to buy bat but it really doesn't because they dump as soon as they buy it.

lending.....
Its always funny for me that people thing. Opening a shitcoin to lending is "good" for the price movement. I mean just think about it for a moment. You give your BAT to a platform like compound, dxdy, Maker etc. And get your copy cBAT tokens instead. So what do you think is compound doing with the BAT? Obviously selling.

So everytime you give away yout BAT or park it in an exchange other bigger players are selling your tokens. The only way to have it grow is IF YOU GUYS KEEP THOSE TOKENS AND DONT LEND IT AWAY.

its not doing that badly in terms of ETH, but the entire shitcoin market is shit right now

>> No.16464229

crypto retards hate it, and its not big enough yet for normies to start buying it on coinbase. Simple as that. Just wait until it captures both markets. A 10k stack will be a nice windfall and it only costs $1,800

Sell the news retards. Brave 1.0 happened and looking at the history of this shitcoin makes you easily predict what was going to happen. And there will be more blood because everyone is watching BTC and are going to dump their BAT to go to fiat or Bitcoin (if it pumps).

Fuck you guys this coin is amazing. I'm going to sell my massive BAT bags for $10+ per token. Privacy is going to become a bigger deal with tech giants collecting more and more data / China showing everyone how badly that can turn out.

Those BAT CDP's are growing at a pretty decent rate. Once more users join, the CDP threshold increases, and people start earning and staking BAT on things like VPN0, the supply will dry up super fast. Right now each user cannot hold more than 150 BAT. In the next year or two I think its going to be around 20 BAT

No idea, the entire market is shit right now. Ideally for me everything would crash in 2020 while I buy up cheap coins and then a bull run in 2021 would let me retire early.
