Meth is cheap enough that you can do it for years, the cost is less than regular life because food is so expensive and you don't need as much. But you will lose your mind, hear voices, become trans, become so paranoid you can't function, or similar. Heroin probably won't kill you, I've had a couple friends that od but others are retard vegetables in care homes now. Worse than dead.

Drugs make a good alternative to suicide but actually dying is still rare. Take up dangerous sports while on drugs for better chance
