There exists this notion about the local communities that emerged around 2015 when Ethereum launched, and nerds all around the world networked in their local area with fellow hobbyists bootstraped Ethereums hype. Something that no other crypto besides bitcoin could do, and their meetups were rather community gettogethers while ETH where highly technical

it also could be a painfully non-organic orchastrated scheme. lets discuss
