Encrypt your keys before you write them down.

Show your next of kin how to encrypt / decrypt and tell them the password.

If they can't handle that, make the cypher something stupidly simple like swap the first and last seed word or something.

In terms of having your key salvageable if you die, I solved this by cutting my private key in half, making a cipher for the letters and the numbers

my mother gets one half of the key and the cipher for only the letters
and my best friend from childhood gets the other half with only the cipher for the numbers

they would have to conspire against you, and you can split up your keys in more portions if you want, and give them to people who don't know who has the other parts; they wouldn't get far trying to put the key together/find who has the other parts while you're alive....
