mainstream finance partnerships incoming in next few months, this is absolutely nothing in comparison. These are the same partnerships that they were baiting back in july-august but they couldn't release yet, /biz/ ain't ready.

Very very stale FUD.

When you start seeing the same copy-pasta FUD over and over, without anyone actually willing to explain it in detail, you know something big is gonna happen.

same things happened with ETH, DGB, OMG, LINK, etc etc....

and why will that matter when they announce who will be making use of their mainnet?

are you seriously claiming DUSK is an elaborate scam?

>> No.16441746

>>16441692
sigh...any self respecting STO project that doesn't integrate privacy at a protocol level is a joke.

watch every major player in the space migrate over to DUSK, or "develop interoperability" to save face. all these erc projects are such a joke.

>> No.16441782

A lot of low iq moon boys are invested in dusk, just look at the telegram group. Really keeps me away from the project as well as the other red flags. In this very moment the token is worthless. Maybe it will be worth something in the future, but I just don´t see it

>> No.16441790

>Dusk token will be useless

Where in reality only the STOs that were hosted off-chain on regulated primary markets will allow one to fund in Euro.

ALL ON-CHAIN STOS REQUIRES DUSK TOKENS

>If STO projects don't go onchain. No massive buying of dusk as promised for STO.
Dusk offer both solutions. Investors rekt

ok. you've made a statement. congrats.

care to explain why that would matter?

are you suggesting that the token has no value because they will accept other currencies for fund raises?

One of the concerns is what kinda company would announce that they will use dusk as sto platform 1 year before even mainnet is out. The news related in op, came out in december 2018 and they still dont have a mainnet

>> No.16441913

>>16441877
The question you need to ask is, will fundraising be the main use case for DUSK...? How does NASDAQ make money?

>>16441888
Or perhaps the team have been distracted by much bigger fish...with more intense demands...hm...

given the partners they are likely to announce, I wouldn't worry too much about that one.

>> No.16441938

>>16441913
I´m just saying that Dusk is operating in a very strange and unconventional way. Big serious corporations wouldn´t do business that way. "Likely" to announce, hmm. You have insider info or what?

>> No.16441955

>>16441913
If you remove fundraising in dusk token, token holders are losing the biggest source of token utility

>> No.16441986

>>16441938
you sound like someone that has never worked with a "big serious corporation".

they do not give a shit about statements you made in a interview 6 months ago. they work on their own time.

the benefit is, of course, once they bite....it can be very lucrative.

I work in institutional finance in europe, and have hosted some members of their team at our offices. I don't think our firm will be working with them anytime soon, but I know of several related parties that are extremely interested. these are firms that have seen the tokenisation trend coming from miles away and have invested heavily into developing in-house expertise in the fields of blockchain/cryptography.

that is to say, if DUSK was able to impress these guys, they've got some serious firepower under the hood.

>> No.16441997

>>16441955
you're an idiot. you need to think a little more critically.

you have barely scratched the surface of what DUSK will mean for inst. finance. if you think it ends at fundraising, well...then idk what to tell you.

>> No.16442012

>>16441986

Companies will all build their own blockchain solution. Don't forget most of crypto is open source giving huge GitHub to dig through for anyone.

JPMorgan did qorum.

IBM, Amazon all offer their own services. Don't expect token plebs to be showing up on NASDAQ.

>> No.16442018

Maybe they would be impressed if they had a mainnet, like tezos have. We just have to wait and see, but I know where I´m placing my bets

>> No.16442046

>>16441986
Serious corporations are usually not making deals with a company that has no functional product. That would be very risky, and ceo´s usually try to avoid risky shit

>> No.16442073

tezos are trying to slap privacy on top of their dog shit chain. raised all that money and they still dont know what to do with it lol.

>>16442012
lol. I don't think you have a good enough understanding of the infrastructures we're discussing here.

there is currently NO alternative to DUSK (assuming successful mainnet release in the next few months). literally none.

>> No.16442089

>>16442046
there are 2 options:
1. they have enough under the hood to convince some VERY big players to partner up
2. they are full of shit

i am choosing option 1, because of the interactions I have had with the team and others in the industry. you are choosing 2 because you have a vested interest in Tezos.

that's fine. we'll see who ends up better off 12 months from now.
