I think I've been doing this trading thing wrong. Are you supposed to you use stop limit orders to long or short? That is, stop limit buy order over the resistance zone in case the coin pumps, or stop limit sell under support zone in case it dumps. If your stop limit buy order is triggered and the coin dumps right away, you can short it, or if your stop limit sell is triggered and the coin pumps back, you close your short and long it. Until now, I just bought when I thought a coin would pump soon or shorted when I thought it would dump. Was I doing it wrong?

Or is it the other way. Limit buy when it dumps and limit sell when it pumps?
