So, like. I make a stock investment savings I'm ready now and I put, let's say €1,000 into my portfolio...

I'm going relatively good for a few months, up and down and so one...

Boom, big hit, let's 4 stocks go down by 4, 10, 16 boom, 27...

My portfolio goes red and has been red for few days and weeks and possibly months...

What I don't understand is, do I end up debt...?
I want to play it safe, I want to be an actual investor. In it for the long term. I'm aware I will be losing money. I am prepared to lose money, because it will happen. But, do I have to pay anyone or anything? Does my actual other savings get involved? (Unless I put more money into my portfolio) if I didn't, would I actually be losing over €1,000?(Which was my original startings)

As you can see...
Plz, no bully.

No, unless you use leverage the most you can lose is what you invested (the principal)

Happy to help fren. Something else to consider is trading fees: you need to factor them in to your net return (or loss) calculations. When playing with relatively small transactions they can have a (dis)proportionately large impact.
