Hello fellow redditors, what indicators do you use while trading?
Which ones are legit?

I only use RSI to gaurge momentum and moving averages to identify trends. More than enough to tell a story

the question should be
>what indicator settings do I use for <insert indicator> for <insert trading pair>

not going to make it.

start playing around and you will see. there is no magic settings, especially for crypto where a whale can dump/pump and fuck the whole order book in 2 secs.

but IN GENERAL. go for the longer time frames 1D or 1W. try them out, understand what they do and adjust settings as needed FOR EACH trading pair and time frame.
things that tend to work on longer timeframes: macd, ppo (macds cousin), rsi (I dont like it though), EMA, FRAMA, VWMA,

on-balance volume.
pure volume is often overlooked.
volume can be useful for helping spot, tops and bottoms.

if you really delve into it you can probably spot trends in hashrate and things like this by following what asics come out and how that changes mining if you find a corellation between mining and price. this is of course macro-stuff and never applicable in the short term. you can find patterns in many things.
