Now is the time anon.

With brave out of open-beta, they’re ramping up their ad campaign. Once the “influencers” hear about it and start soliciting contributions in it, it’ll be too late.

Bullish

>> No.16384098

there are an estimated 4.5B people online. currently Brave has about 9M users (0.19% of market).

if brave could get half of Opera's share (1.15%) that would equal 51M users (29 tokens per user)
if brave could get half of Firefox's share (2.5%) that would equal 112M users (13 tokens per user)
if brave could get half of Chromes share (31%) that would equal 1.3B users (1.1 tokens per user)

When 100 million Brave users have started using rewards consistently there are only 15 BAT to go around to each of them. 10k will be a ton.

if brave gets half of opera's user base (51m) users its going to be a huge success. from an advertising perspective having 51m active users is a very very large audience...realize that popular cable news shows get 4-5m viewers each...popular sitcoms get maybe double...superbowl gets 100m.

Been using the Brave browser since launch since it is unironically 100x better than any other browser. But sold all my remaining BAT (about 2500 at the time) into me Link stack around June, which obviously paid off.

Not sure if I am ever gonna try accumulating BAT again desu. I consolidated all my alts to Link this year which has been lucrative, but as far diversifying again I am leaning more to getting Quant unless someone here can convince me otherwise

I think one good partnership and some marketing and it's going to take off. Like a partnership with Steam where you can buy vidya with Brave rewards (BAT). So far they've integrated BAT tipping on platforms where most users don't use the browser. Like Twitter for example, people use the Twitter app for that not Brave. The right partnership will come along eventually and it'll enter the collective consciousness of the masses. Then we find ourselves on the moon.

It's sad that Brave is a good project in every respect with a working, viable idea, but the token itself might be not needed in the future

2 good clear eyed responses.
i actually dont think it matters too much in this part of the cycle. personally i think the extreme narrow focus of bat as a token is a feature at this point....i think feature explosion would doom it at this nascent stage.
In near future, once awareness sinks in that "30m ppl are using this day and have this coin" then ecosystems will get built out. i somehow doubt amazon will every accept bat, however they may 100% accept dai and i can totally see brave having instant bat-dai swaps coming.

thats retarded logic actually. You want to be buying the coin that's at ground floor before it gets more users. With its industry support (bolstered by Brave) increased usage is a given. If you didnt buy BAT before Coinbase listed it and then sold on listing youre a brainlet

I have been steadily accumulating BAT. It's extremely undervalued. The consensus around here seems to be that BAT is only a good buy when brave is massively successful, but at that point its already too late. Many people are going to miss this just like ethereum
