as a swede, i really miss paper money.

we're very digital and extremely often places simply refuses to take all physical money, which to be honest i think there should be a law against after the company gets to be a certain size. i can't imagine the panic if internet went down for a month..
it's also not good to have foreign companies (visa/mastercard) being able to threaten to shut down a country's economy.
also the physical money is supposed to be backed by the government, it doesn't make sense for them to allow businesses to not accept it.
there's also the privacy aspect of course, not having all your transfers logged is a good thing.
plus physical money is good for children to learn that when they pay for something they actually lose something that they no longer have. seeing a digital number change is not pedagogical.
