It goes up and down short term but long term only up. It's because BTC is measured against fiat. All of them will pump BTC at separate times but none of them will balance and control themselves like the US has the last few years.

As the supply gets smaller you better hope long term holders give up or demand falls off a cliff. If you're shorting BTC, watch out when BTC's dry up
