Why don't Americans just use a VPN or proxies to access exchanges without KYC? Why do I never see anyone suggesting this as a solution? Is there something I'm missing?

I just created an IDEX account with a Polish IP and it says my withdrawal limit is $5000 per day. And I seem to have access to all the coins every non-burger has access to. Seems like it would work fine unless it's going to ask me for KYC shit if I actually tried to withdraw.
