>BTC down
>alts down

>XRP up

when you anon realize that XRP is the new BTC? flippening is happening.

Bullshit? Go gamble your university startup shitcoins. Even ripples marketing budget is bigger than your shitcoins whole fucking volume.

They have already chosen the next bitcoin.

Except it's dumping right now

Everyone here is trying to get rich quick, You are all early. But that's the problem. You're too early. Crypto is still in it's development/trials phase. all the coins are just guinnea pigs for the coin the government will ultimately roll out to replace the dollar. XRP was looking promising but they don't want arbitrary junk data shitting up the blockchain and XRP apparently allows for that so it will be chosen. XRP did get the fundamentals right though. In order for a coin to be a dollar replacement, it has to be fast. the fees have to be low. and it needs to be centralized. because lets face it. there is no such thing as "decentralization" in mined coins. just look at BTC. it's literally all mined in China...

*so it will NOT be chosen

XRP also pumped for a day or two when BTC broke below 6k last year.

This, then it dumped even harder :(

Also. if you guys are wondering why BTC doesn't just dump and go to zero overnight. It's because the major bag holders can't dump. If they actually tried to dump their bags the market couldn't absorb all those sell orders. It would collapse. They can't sell. Their bitcoins are literally already worthless.

so bitcoin is dying slowly. but steady.

which coin will overthrone btc in the end? ETH? XRP?

Bitcoin isn't dying. It's already dead. The value assigned to it is essentially speculative only. It has no further utility value.

if it's centralized, then why wouldn't I use an existing payment system instead of having to buy some random coin?

But didn't they already solve the junk data problem? At least there was a proposal that if it would get too bad the fee for long memos could be raised so it would become exponentially more expensive.
If that's the only counterargument to XRP I don't think it should affect its adoption to be honest.
In my opinion it's more a matter of whether they can actually pull it off to get a critical amount of banks on board.

Because the government is having a hard time fighting counterfeiting. Billions are lost every year to counterfeiting. Also control. Cash can't be controlled.

Also because the USD is worthless. It's inflationairy. The US can't pay back it's debts and will eventually default. The US hates china with a passion, and china holds almost all the US debt. The plan will be to ultimately default and that will basically render the USD worthless overnight. But a new crypto will be in place long before that happens to make the transition more or less invisible.
