every offices and buildings will be covered in them if they are

it's a cost you need to pay for staying off grid and it won't save you money

also depends on regulations

Idk.. dont they cost like 10-25k? I guess super long term it could be, but depending on how long would determine how worth it it is

You’ll start seeing positive returns in about 30 years

Depends. Are you in high solar orbit, gazing down upon the glittering planets, looking for power options for your space station?

>> No.16314909

it costs 10k, but government subsidizes half of it. so i only need to pay 5k.

ive done some research it could prob save me around $4-$13 everyday if its not some garb tier chink panels.

Just in time for them to wear out and you have to get new ones.

Yeah if you get free money from the government for them

Don't fall for the overproducing to sell energy to the energy companies meme. They pay almost nothing and it would really cut into your already almost nonexistent profitability.

I'm getting them installed this year.
The monthly payments for them will be about the same as for my current electric bill, but after they're paid off it's 100% free gains.

>> No.16315307

>>16315079
True that u cant profit from selling extra power. U gotta change ur habits so that ur using ur own electricitY to get the most out of it. U will see a roi in about 4 years.

>> No.16315331

I thought this was a business board. Are you fucking kidding me? Neets and underage posters telling you that you won't save money are full of shit. The gov gives you subsidies, your electric bill goes down or ceases to exist depending on your need. If you've got the money for the hefty initial, do it fag.
>>16315079
this is true though

If you can get tax write offs (or something similar) in your country for buying them: maybe.
If not: no.

>> No.16315374

Gotta add: I'm guaranteed 15 years of what's called a "spinning disk system", where I get to use the electric grid as a virtual battery.

>> No.16315375

As long as you're not a retarded boomer who lives with the TV/air conditioner on 24/7 you really don't need more than a 4kw system, or even 2kw/3kw if you live on your own.

Will pay for itself in 3-4 years, as the cost of renewables comes down though it won't be long before its 2-3 years.

Honestly get on it
