How is the supply so small? It is already 16x smaller than LINK, and currently only 1000 people can own 30K VIDT. And on top of this, those crazy Dutch motherfuckers are hell bent on burning the rest of the supply while they simultaneously onboard new clients. It’s crazy.

While we are unable to comment on the tokenomics of other ventures, we want to reiterate that from the very beginning our goal was to create a token that would in time reward our initial investors tenfold. We want to give back to those who from the beginning believed in us. We chose to keep the supply small out of consideration, as we had no way of anticipating the amount of interest our project would generate in such a short time. In retrospect, we could have created more tokens for the ICO. There is the option down the line to cease the burns and buybacks or release more tokens on different exchanges if there is demand from the community.

Very interesting. Thank you for your reply. If this is actually the VIDT team, then Bravo. I think the /biz/ community actually greatly appreciates the current tokenomics and small supply, as both of these contribute to VIDT’s “moon” potential.

My next question is: What client negotiation efforts/ strategies are currently being pursued? For example, I always thought VIDT could find a niche in the validation of medical documents. The United States makes a huge deal about patient privacy with respect to healthcare documents, and we have record levels of opioid drug abuse due to various forms of prescription fraud and such. Has VIDT considered this and other possible directions for future clients?

Our team was made aware of the misconceptions regarding our business and what we are aiming to accomplish. Recently we expanded our marketing efforts to be more in touch with the community and this is one of the initiatives that we felt were necessary, primarily to quell rumors and false information floating around. We are constantly looking for new usecases for our product. Thank you for your suggestion, I will pass it along to the rest of the team. I cannot disclose any specifics regarding ongoing collaborations or deals, but the healthcare industry is directly in our sights. Our priority now and for the following year is strictly on growing the adoption of our technology in our home country and surrounding areas.
