Hello, I am wondering which masters degree I should get. I am halfway through a bachelors in accounting already. I want a masters since I already need to get to 150 for the CPA so might as well have a masters. I have my choices down to the following:

1) Masters in Accounting (MSA)

2) Masters in MIS

3) Masters in Data Analytics (new at my school)

Which one would you guys recommend? The MSA doesn’t seem to be too helpful from what most people say. The MS MIS seems like I could do regular accounting (Audit, Tax) or work in other tech subsets. No clue on 3, but it sounds cool and gets a lot of hype.

What do you guys think? The MSA tax classes look the most interesting, but the MIS classes seem most useful.

>Accounting

Helium and plastic bag

Or

>Data Analytics

Meme degree. This field is saturated with STEM grads, nobody needs a bookkeeper in Analytics.

You should get industry experience instead

Accounting is a lot more than bookkeeping, especially at the CPA level.

Ok.
Do the needful and check the 'cope' box in the next financial report.

Almost finished with my MBA.
I’d say the last two give you more earning potential. The accounting profession will be phased out within the next 50 years.
Also, get a job that will pay for it.

In general, to succeed, you need one of the following :
Competence / looks (Chad) / nepotism / sucking dicks
Within a meme field such as "business", the competence ladder is nonexistent.
