I fell for the trade meme long ago but saved some shekels to build a sawmill. I cut my own lumber and built a small house on some cheap land ($15k, 35 acres) out in the middle of nowhere. Made a stockpile of dimensional lumber to sell occasionally and sold the sawmill for $8k. After materials and my time @ $25/ hour I tripled my investment. Building second mill ATM and have a customer already lined up with a deposit, working whenever I feel like it. Deadline is spring and I'm pretty well finished. I increased the price to $10k, probably could have gotten away with more. I can stretch those bux out for awhile. No mortgage, land taxes are less than $100 a year. No fancy foreign luxury vehicle, just an old 1 ton chev pickup.
Just bought a new gaming laptop that runs off my 4 kilowatt PV array and battery bank. I'll never work for the Jew ever again. Lol.

When I can finally NEET it up my plan is go turn my yard into a garden. Not like a front yard, at least 3+ acres turned into a Market Garden system.
