It seems Berkshire made some moves today. They sold Apple and bought RH (furniture company?) and OXY (petroleum). RH is in good shape technically and I think that may be something to keep an eye on for entry. OXY is mega bearish so I guess Papa Buffett had some fundamental reason to scoop up those shares. If he's bullish on energy sector I would appreciate that help as 70% of my portfolio is oil/gas/energy at the moment.

It'll have a bottom somewhere for sure. If any Canadian company survives it'll be that one. Canadian government must listen to what these companies have to say about the legal situation. Their product is regulated like none other. They can't really advertise at all. The supply line has all sorts of government roadblocks that severely hamper them, they can't sell at costs low enough to push out the black market. If the government does not respond they may kill the industry in infancy, the US will legalize, money will flow and Canada's early advantage will have been squandered.

Companies with large cash hordes on the sidelines open their coffers, cap ex goes up, people want to use the cash before it drops in value. That should all be rather economically stimulating, as long as it isn’t out of control. But central bankers have strategies for slowing inflation, and the more they cut, the more room they have to raise rates.

and that's exactly what banks are doing with the extra cash, they're not going long on KO stocks if that's what you're implying. They're gambling up and down to maximise cash input and meet fed's quotas for the day so they can keep lending and receiving currency to/from other banks and keep the scam going.
