16238513 No.16238513 [Reply] [Original]

why would you ever use anything besides monero for actual transactions?

>> No.16238527

Slow, takes forever to check your balance, awkward to set up a wallet, most people don't have it so you can't send it to anyone or recieve it from anyone

>> No.16238538

>>16238527
>hard forks your chain and starts deanonymizing transactions
psssh... nothing personnel... kid...

>> No.16238541

>>16238527
This is a Glow Nigger trying to stop people from using it.

>> No.16238551

Only green IDs allowed here

>> No.16238569

>>16238541
The user experience is fundamentally atrocious

>> No.16238572

>>16238569
yep
try zcoin

wasabi wallet + coinjoin = "good enough"

>> No.16238585

>>16238580
nice fees, corecuck

BCH + Cashshuffle = "good enough"

>> No.16238594

>>16238585
nope
both are compromised
and you can be discovered that you were seeking evasion and you still have the cones

>> No.16238608

>>16238594
depends on your threatmodel.
If you are buying illegal shit both wasabi and cashshuffle are not your goto.

If I want to send a friend 10$ without revealing my stack, shuffling or coinjoin are perfect

>> No.16238626

>>16238608
yeah and the fee on that 10 bucks is great too

ohh and wait until wealth is taxable, then you will be required to register your crypto too to get taxed

anonymity is the way to go, without it you are one mistake away from hell

>> No.16238627

>>16238608
which is also why its retarded to use BTC, given the fees

>> No.16238634

>>16238626
yup thats my point in >>16238585

why coinjoin on BTC if you lose a ton on fees and wont get real anonymity. Use BCH for casual "anonymity"

The same reason people do not use Grin, too complicated for the uninitiated and the volatility.
That's probably why the crow will flock towards stable coins as means of payment
Also it has to be fair and backed for a layman to trust it. I think decentralized stable coins with collateral backing it will be more easily accepted by the majority. Check out DAI and RSV (stable coin from Reserve Rights)

BCH is on the right track, and they will be hammered
remember the hash war from the fakoshi glownigger
they went after BCH for a reason and they are not done

however we cannot count on BCH as still full of shit and not clearly defined itself

>> No.16238654

>>16238638
stable cones in the terms of service can void your balance
not gonna work long term

>> No.16238662

explain

>>16238662
google it
menero can be deanonimised to a degree
zcoin can't at all

>> No.16238679

>>16238642
They come this hard after BCH. Imagine their hardon for Monero if it ever gets real traction

>> No.16238699

>>16238679
yeah but there is nothing they can do
even if all fiat pairs are gone
as long as you have at least one transparent chain you can cash out and cash in

we won

>> No.16238737

>>16238699
nice optimism but as soon as the on/offramps die its over.

>> No.16238764

Monero is basically the new btc. Redditfags have yet to notice

>> No.16238775

>>16238737
no that it when it begins
we will trade, it will be done on the parking lots

and then the merit of a cone will reaaaly mater
