Why not EOS then?
Or any other eth killer project.
The question is "what is the best and most useful" Bitcoin(BCH) can do basic smart contracts, and can do Tokens, so why would someone need to switch away from a brand that is only just starting to establish trust in the mind of the normies. If the product isn't 10x better, then it's all about existing mindshare and the big get bigger. The real Bitcoin will win.

Ethereum has so many more developers working on it compared to other chains and actually has useful DeFi applications running on it right now already (DeXs and Collateralized Loans). EOS and TRON are ponzi scheme gambling chains with high bot activity. Not to mentioned they're centralized as fuck.

Lol imagine thinking the most fairly distributed crypto project to ever exist will somehow be upended by whale laden developer shitcoin printers. Buttcorns fair market value is 200k per minimum before we can begin to talk about wether the space is in a speculative bubble

This isn't even maxi bullshit by the way, bitcoin is the only coin in the space as of this moment that can hold claim to being a transferable store of value. This is also why bitcoin is allowed to hold this title despite what may be viewed as outdated tech. Every other coin is equity fundamentally. It is allocated and built and played around the fundamental belief everything will be in pursuit of making money for the holders. Forks even are manipulated around devs buying into their coin for a potentially greater upside and marketshare then if they invested and built into the bitcoin ecosystem. Inb4 satoshis Vishnu holders come to "educate" me on segwit and forks btw.

When everything's treated like equity and investments that deserve higher marketcaps then well established buisnesses simply for being in the same space as the only solution that really can become bigger then any equity on earth, that's when you know it really will become that big despite everyone pretending its common knowledge yet not acting accordingly.

Bitcoin is basically a Ponzi scheme at this point. You hold it because it's supposed to go up, not because it's useful. If this market is at least a bit rational we should see a good 50% of Bitcoin's market cap moving into ethereum, which is where real use cases are.

this is your mind on btc maximalism
you faggots spend half of the time crying eth doesn't have a monetary policy, and now you turn around and whine every other blockchain (presumably including eth) is run like equity
in the real world, thousands of devs toy with evm whether for fun or to solve specific problems
there is actually some people doing the same on bitcoin too, although you mouthbreathers wouldn't know them with your "muh store of value, number go up" mantra. identification is a much more interesting application of blockchain than HODL!!1, hence why companies generating positive cash flow in the tune of 8 figures have been built out of it since 2013
the world is moving on because you idiots are being hostile to useful stuff being done on bitcoin. stay in your corner of the internet with your retail investor mindset and stale memes, that'll work out

>> No.16212571

>>16212517
Idiot maxis don't like when you build potentially useful stuff on their clogchain. Counterparty, Veriblock, even fucking Tether... And they do everything they can to shit on those entities and impede those who want pay for their stupid fees for additional utility.

as opposed to what? why do people invest in a stock market where 80% of the 'popular' stocks don't pay divis? ppl buy uber stock for 'voting rights'? why do people buy luxury penthouse condos? why do people buy gold? etc etc

This is my exact thought, which is why I am 70 % in ETH, 10 % FTM, 2.5 % DAG and 17.5 % in other alts.

ETH completely dominates when it comes to developer adoption and serious use cases like asset tokenization or DeFi.

I'm long term bullish on both ETH and BTC, but to say BTC is just a ponzi is retarded. If you've ever had to deal with sending money to someone around the world, it's an absolute fucking nightmare to do with fuck loads of red tape. With bitcoin you just put their address in and bam, fire and forget. The same can't be said about stocks which serve no real purpose other than being able to own a fraction of a company, which is essentially the same fucking thing, hoping that the stock goes up so you can sell it for a higher price to someone else, it serves no purpose beyond that.

>Performing 51 % attacks will become less expensive for each halving unless the price keeps going parabolic.

cryptokitties FUD yet again, how boring

cryptokitties was the first ponzi collectible game EVER at a time when people were willing to drive the fees up high due to drastically increased risk tolerance at the very peak of the bull market
meanwhile, EOS got fucked by a single shitcoin airdrop (something that happens on ETH all the time) in a bear market
fucking lol, that's really embarrassing
