He acts weird and the fact he worked with the feds makes him suspect. Some of the things he says strike me as a suspicious way of pushing for total centralization and control under the guise of "law".

Law exists whether you like it or not. Therefore if you want Bitcoin to actually succeed and get adoption in the real world, by real businesses and professional people, it has to be compliant with law.

If there are some laws you don't like, it needs to be rectified in the proper way through the legislature and political system. It's not the job of Bitcoin to subvert the entire judicial system - it's just supposed to be neutral money.

I understand that but you miss my point. Some of his actions and words make him seem more like a corrupt politician defending the incarceration of a grandmother for posessing medical marihuana or an agressive prosecutor getting someone on an absurd technicality "because its the law!", than someone actually concerned about adhering to legality. Surely you understand the difference and if you are as smart as you think you are you should be familiar with how "the law" is more flexible and malleable than most people think and how easily statutes and legislation can be abused or simply massaged enough until they do what you want them too. Im willing to change my mind on him but he just doesn't strike me as an actually honest person.

This is up to the judicial and political system to address, and NOT the domain of BitCoin, which is just money. You can use money for good and for evil, like all technology.

The great thing about it is that you don't actually have to like Craig to be able to use Bitcoin. Anyone can use it. If you break the law using Bitcoin you will still have to answer to the law, whether you think the laws are just or unjust.

The good thing about Bitcoin however, is that it is a public ledger. Which incentivizes all participants to be honest, because your transactions are recorded forever. This puts corrupt governments in a bad spot, because they are the ones who benefit most from being able to operate in the dark.

Bitcoin simply shines a light where there was darkness before. Criminals on all sides, whether you are in government or not in government, will detest it this kind of system

What you posted reminds me very much of the language of things like the Patriot Act and now I am leaning more towards thinking Craig is indeed a government agent. Thanks anyways

I mean he literally worked as a contractor for the NSA and Australian Federal Police to stop human traffickers, pedophiles and other scum using his skills in cryptography and forensic analysis. That's not a secret.

He also has ties to Qanon, which is a military intelligence operation.

So he's a Fed. But working for white hats, not black hats.

It would be very easy for him to change my mind. Move some genesis coins around, with amounts announce beforehand. Very simple.
So far he as done nothing other than proclaiming.
Guess what, OP. I'm actually Statoshi, and you can't disprove me, because I am.

No problem working with police departments that's (usually) a good thing. Being a glow in the dark is another thing entirely. I am just concerned with his obsession of having everything be tracked by btc because surely anyone as smart as he claims to be would not be that naive. Would switching everything to a blockchain solution truly end corruption in China or Venezuela or would it just give the government more information and control over its citizens? Why would this be different in the US. Any more info on his ties to Q/military intelligence would be appreciated though
