no, you missing the point.

Chainlink will be worth $1000 a coin to INSURE and SECURE the data running through the oracle network (Web 3.0)

Sort of.

He stopped using a fake picture (after he was called out for that) and his profile not longer says that he is based in Los Angeles.

His profile still says that he used to work at Deloitte and now works at PwC but that is almost certainly bullshit.

If you 3x leverage long LINK, when the price doubles, you'll double your stack.
So if you buy 560 LINK with 8 ETH, and set your position at ~$2.65, once it reaches $5.30 you will have 1120 LINK. Interest is almost zero on Binance and liquidation price will be below $2 which LINK is very unlikely to ever fall below again.

yes but how long would I need to wait? of course link will reach $5, but what if that takes 1 year theoretically? is there a time limit to leveraging or can I wait forever for link to hit $5

You have to pay interest (not directly, it's calculated as part of the margin level) but that's it, which is only ~0.0011% per hour or only $1 every 1.25 days for the amount you will borrow for 560 LINK. There is no time limit otherwise.

what am i missing? wouldn't you still have 560 LINK, just worth twice as much? number of units wouldn't increase would it?

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if link falls below $2 in the next 2 months. It’s just as likely to drop to $1.70 as it is $5

Yes, but you may want to research the nuances surrounding each platform beforehand since it may not be the exact same (e.g. different interest rates) and they may not support doing it with LINK pairs.
>>16169047
With the 3x leverage you borrow money that you have to later repay back to Binance, along with interest fees depending on how long you borrowed it for.
If you invest that money into a crypto like LINK, if it goes up in price, you can sell it, repay the initial investment + the small amount of interest, and keep the rest which is your starting amount and the difference.
e.g. if I have 100 LINK at $2.50 ($250) and 3x leverage long it by borrowing $500 ($750 total), and the price goes to $5.00 ($1500 total), once I repay the $500, I will now have $1000 worth, which divided by $5.00 is 200 LINK (not including the small amount subtracted because of interest fees).
This works for Binance because of liquidation, if LINK's price instead drops to the point of it causing a margin level of 1.1 or below (e.g. it halves), I will lose my entire starting amount of $250 automatically to ensure that I can repay the borrowed amount + interest no matter what.
You can add more to margin balance to push back the liquidation price though to prevent this from happening if needed.
Margin Level = Total Asset Value / Total Borrowed + Total Accrued Interest

Nice FUD, staking is going to be announced soon.
It's worth the gamble for linklets anyway, not much to lose but a lot to gain with a very high chance of gaining.
