A few reasons, from what I've seen, not to "cash out":

1. You have to KYC to cash out.
2. People are lazy. It's much easier to just spend BAT through tipping at the moment than cashing out, especially when you only have small amounts of BAT in browser wallet.

Here is the short answer. Both link and BAT are top tier coins. Link has staking which is basically a type of collateral. You loan it out and get more if you are trustworthy. BAT is basically early 2000's google with its own currency. People who use the browser can opt into a program where they allow ads to infrequently pop up for BAT tokens that are redeemable for cash. With BAT there are 1.5B tokens and advertisers have to buy BAT if they want to advertise. So the idea is that the token supply will shrink over time and more and more advertising dollars will flow into the platform and make BAT tokens worth a lot of money. With something like bitcoin there really isn't a reason for anyone to purchase bitcoin. With BAT, advertisers have to purchase it.

Advertisers receive a portion of BAT as well. The viewer gets 70% and the advertiser the other 30%. Currently the waiting list for advertisers is in the 1000s.

To check out the full list of publishers check out batgrowth .com. There's currently over 8M+ monthly active users for the Brave browser (you enable Brave Rewards to receive BAT by viewing ads that pop up like Windows notifications. You can close the window or click it to display the web page).

As far as BTC, even if you only have $5 to invest in it every other week, do so. Even if you'll never have a full coin for a long while, its more than worth it. Toss $30 into it and forget about it if nothing else.

You can buy as little as the exchange/broker/etc allows. Minimum you can buy from Coinbase is $2 for example.

There's a lot of wallets out there, but if you want to go the most simple route you can just use Coinbase and Coinbase Wallet to buy and store your crypto respectively. I recommend investing in cold storage and storing your crypto there when you get a bit saved up, and as for other wallets, there's def an abundance to choose from, I'm just throwing out Coinbase since its so easy to use and start from and you can buy and store both BTC and BAT from them.

Coinbase does have some pretty shitty fees, you can use Coinbase Pro with less harsh fees, but you should get some experience & research under your belt before going into exchanges.

BAT is very promising and I reccommend downloading the browser right away if you haven't and start earning free BAT. Brave Browser is pretty much Google Chrome without all the bloat and spyware. Sorry for the long ass post and any tard sounding shit. Im tired as hell.

You have the numbers confused when it comes to rev split. 70% of the ad dollars spent go to the users, the other 30% to brave. You might be thinking of publisher ads which are basically like googles display network (adsense) the publisher (someone like npr.com) serves an ad on their site, and if you are opted into the ad network you get 15%, brave gets 15% and the publisher gets 70%

They are still working on publisher ads and the rev split may change, and we might see some new mechanics so thats why im super bullish on BAT.

As far as bitcoin goes, its similar to my early ethereum dilemma. Buy ethereum at $5 or buy the hardware to mine ethereum. I chose to buy the ethereum because of the opportunity cost. You can throw $100 at bitcoin every month or you can throw $100 at BAT every month, but if either one doubles you only make $200. If it quadruples $400. I dont know what it would take for bitcoin to go to $40k, but for BAT to go to $1 doesnt even sound crazy when I think it could hit $70 eventually. BAT is basically everything bitcoin was meant to be. Bitcoin is some weird economic collapse store of value meme, and the whitepaper intended for it to be p2p digital cash like paypal. Bitcoins silk road days were exactly what bitcoin was created for and its outgrown it into a full blown scam to the point monero is more bitcoin than bitcoin.

You can withdraw them through uphold and they are working with other partners like coinbase and civic. They are also working on adding functionality to pay for services or paywalls. They are also working on VPN0 which is a distributed vpn service that will utilize BAT and i believe you can earn and pay for the service with BAT.

I did a quick skim and the difference between qnt and qtum is qnt is basically an ethereum based application for verifying the legitimacy of email senders etc. Qtum is basically some weird bitcoin sidechain smart contract platform, maybe a rip off ethereum. Google might be integrated into everything, but their revenue solely comes from search and display ads, everything else they do is basically a meme. Making the switch to the brave browser is not a hard sell, and even if it is brave can still be an extremely successful company even if it remains in a niche market. Google search is honestly the only thing people care about and its the companies bread and butter. If chrome closed up shop tomorrow their would be a few groans, people would switch to firefox, and people would still use google search.
