This is really annoying me big time. Robinhood is definitely doing something to my options orders on the back end.

>Attempt to sell 3 put options
>Attempt to sell 1 put option
>3 minutes pass neither order gets filled
>Cancel both
>Put 1 sell put order in
>Immidiately filled
>Doesnt happen with buy options
>Accidentally buy 3 options (meant to hit sell), immidiately filled

Just who am I trading against!? Robinhood seems to block my orders from being filled unless
>I have no other sell put orders for said option unfulfilled
>Only put a maximum of ONE order in
>Can't put 5 at said price or it remains unfulfilled
>1 at a time, 5 times in a row with same requirements? Fulfilled instantly!

This is ridiculuos! Are they trading against me and the algo considers it high risk?

Stock trading is free on many brokers' platforms. Also option trading is free on some. Futures trading with AMP Clearing has a 78 cents round trip if you trade the micros and a direct comparison I did a while back between comparable notional amounts of trading bitcoin with a 0.2 percent fee both ways vs. trading the micro e-mini shows futures trading to be literally 50 times cheaper. And the gains from the leverage are insane and often better than bitcoin in the same time period. Plus, when's the last time the S&P dropped 20+ percent in a day and stayed there for months.

Preach on we are in agreement. I have come to terms with the fact that I am paying the spread in every market I trade in. Even when I think I'm not, e.g. limit order gets hit, I still am cuz a HFT algo ran the numbers and calculated a profit from taking my limit order. That's money out of my pocket whether it's direct or not. Anybody deluded into thinking otherwise is, well, delusional. That said, it's the price of doing business and I still do quite well.

There could be more to your story, money and experience level but just reading this is what I see. If you want to keep that ~60k, stop trying to pick single stocks right this minute. Some would tell you to get a mix of SPY and bonds based on your age and goals but this is 4chins so I'll suggest a mix of SSO, UPRO, and SOXL. All leveraged ETFs. Look at the 5 year charts for those and Google some of the articles of people who have simulated those ETFs going back a hundred years. Then sit back and relax for a couple of decades. After the relaxing and ridiculous wealth growth matures, fuck supermodels in the riviera.

>anything more than 10% is a pump and dump
Options constantly fluctuate harder than their underlying securities. And you can short a stock if you think itll go down. What would you call that? A dump n pump?

The second resignation after Easterbrook could portend of worse things to come. If it were really just sleeping with a coworker, maybe they would've swept it under the rug, since he's been a good steward of the company from when it had half the value.

Of course, this may have been completely misguided. If it got out that Easterbrook was violating the rules ,at a time when MCD's is under pressure to protect its employees from harassment, shit would hit the fan. He presented a liability.

Once
A
Month

The thing about crypto currency is that the common holder of said currency displays a cult like attitude about their "investment", and generally have little to no financial knowledge. If I told you that the value of bitcoin is tied to tether which is tied to the USD, and the tether boys are committing fraudulent, deceptive, and non-transparent acts, what would you do? If bitcoin falls it's taking the whole market with it, and it's based indirectly on the value of the USD. Congratulations you've defeated the purpose of having an alternate currency. But wait, does anyone holding crypto care? No. They'll just keep buying and holding, patiently awaiting the day where cryptos become the most valuable trading tool on the planet and all governments allow this to happen and everybody bows down and worships them and then claps. All of crypto is a 100% pure speculative bubble formed by delusional bagholders and propped up by the false visions the crypto makers have fed you. One day, could be tomorrow could be 5 years from now, people will begin to realize digital chuck e cheese tokens dont mean a whole lot. They dont do anything. They dont produce. They're just an illegitimate forex, at best. And when that day comes, the whole charade comes crashing down with no chance for recovery. Itll be one for the history books though, you've got that going for you.

Ding ding ding! How did everyone do today? I'm down .54%, not good but I'm not worried. Very happy with GEO earnings, but just like last time I already knew I would be. No plan to cut big divvy (which I just received), deleveraging to continue paying it. Apparently the stories about banks cutting them off are fake news (like I suspected) and they have a solid line of credit through 2024. In addition they have soccer fields with artificial grass for the unaccompanied minors they don't house, they can get some xrcise after watching luxurious flatscreen TVs and receiving CBT (not cock and ball torture you sickos)!

Navi 21 and 23 are at least according to highly credible leakers probably going to be 7nm+. Trademarks for the sub manufacturers, also indicate that there are around 3 months until the big Navi release.
Also, Nvidia switched to Samsung. Who are rumoured to have terrible 7nm yields. Which would make highend GPU production nearb impossible. I expectbthe next Nvidia cars to be barely any better than the current cards besides more rt cores.
Big navi on the other hand might even use chiplets. Which if true, would make it very possible that Amd utterly demolishes Nvidia. In general, I'm not that worried about Intel they have some interesting R&D Nvidia on the other hand looks completely clueless.
Big Navi is either going to be announced tomorrow or in early January 2020. But tomorrow AMD will announce something and the stock will go up again.

If AMD can make a chiplet approach for GPU dies work, it would be really big. They're definitely working on trying to apply the principles of Infinity Fabric to it. Nvidia might have gone full retard with their RT meme cores, but AMD still has to catch up alot in the high end segment.

They said multiple times on the call that they think their long march down has been as a result of bad PR and spurious politically motivated allegations. They had to remind people that they don't imprison children who've been separated from their parents (even though media sources and politicians erroneously reported that they did). There was some mention of dem legislation to try n terminate their contracts and make them sell their facilities to the state, but that's just not happening. California's government is apparently tryna be a sticky wicket but they can't legally end their contract before the terms stated say so, so there's many more years of operation gonna happen there.

In short TSMC and AMD have a very good relationship. TSMC needs AMD to get into the server and desktop CPU markete, therefore AMD >>>>> Nvidia out of TSMC's viewpoint.

Now to Samsung's 7nm process. Their process is theoretically superior to TSMC's process. They sell waifers cheaper.
Despite this companies seem to ignore Samsung and instead queue into the long TSMC 7nm line.

Three things. One's happened today (earnings), the second is the 14th of this month. they go before the FDA. They pass that meeting (which all data/science/groups back) then the 3rd thing is the Dec 28th final FDA meeting. The final one is where they get the Green light. Fun fact; every drug that's passed the first meeting with FDA, 70% of them have later gotten the green light. That window between the first and 2nd FDA meetings is where the Holy buyout will happen. Big Pharma knows the Profit potential. AMRN is a small company, letting that much Profit just slip through Big Pharma's hands would be a big slap to the face. The first meeting (14th) is basically saying to Big Pharma, yes the drug works and we're gonna approve it. The 2nd meeting after the fact the cost to buy AMRN goes up biggly. So Big Pharma would have to fork out more Green bags.
