I sold my chainlink at $2.2 to buy ethereum at $180 thinking I was getting a good deal, I want to neck myself.

Well you'll still be ok with a stack if eth so you didnt completely fuck up. In fact eth is the safer bet out of the two. If link goes parabolic you'll wanna neck for sure, but theres more risk of something going wrong within link and everything dumping then there is with ether

True, this was sort of my reasoning. I felt uneasy holding link so I went into btc, eth and ltc and now price movements don't bother me much. It does hurt a tiny bit seeing link creep towards $3 but I've accepted that I made the safe bet overall. Still want to neck myself though.

You can't pay rent or buy food with Link

you cant do that with ETH either

eth entirely depends on link to be useful

Nothing is lost, wait until stacking happens. Sell now are you're officially retarded.

Wrong
Eth is broken, 2.0 is a far fetched dream
There are competing blockchains using bitcoins network to secure the network such as blockstack, obfuscating network spread.

All of them need Link. Link is the safe bet.

Link is still an early company with very little in the way of adoption. Its basically still a good concept. This isn't meant as fud and I hold lot of link because I see its potential but I'm not going to act like it's a sure thing. It's still a small company and lots could go wrong. Someone else could emerge that does it better, something more practical that makes link and oracles obsolete could be discovered. Eth at least already has mainstream recognition and appeal and is not going anywhere even with 2.0 on the horizon

Funny thing about future tech is that you don't know about it until its announced but its like asking what would do better than Myspace at social media before Facebook came out. That whole post was hypothetical I dont know what's going to happen but nothing is for sure.

The real problem is that cryptocurrency in general hasn’t been adopted. No major country will just give up using their own currency. This whole market is driven on absolutely nothing but speculation.

Imagine investing money without having any idea what is even happening.

I sold (almost half of) my chainlink at $0.8 to buy ethereum at $220 thinking I was getting a good deal, I literally think about it every day with regret.

>thinks he's derisking by selling link for eth/btc

what made you come to this conclusion, after all the news and breadcrumbs?
