Some people just fill out tons of online applications for highly desirable positions at huge companies and expect their phone to ring, not realizing that 99% of those jobs will be filled by people who either already work for the company or were recommended by someone who does. Then they go online and whine about how they applied for a thousand jobs and didn't get a since call back. This guy clearly has no network and is not making any effort to develop one. How can he have two masters degrees, two internships and not know anyone who works in his field?

Even just going to your university's career fair works. Meeting the boss in person for a minute is way more effective than just being some guy who applied online.
