Because the reality is ETH is a shitcoin creator. It's only a matter of time before something is born from it that surpasses it in value. RLC is that coin.

The biggest reason for that is because technically, with the sidechain come v4, RLC won't "need" ETH, outside of the initial transaction. Later down the road RLC could have its own blockchain.
