94k to 140k for a lambo.
i have $450k in liquid assets but even then im not going to spend 1/4 of my assets on a lambo. How much does one even need to buy a lambo or ferrari and not worry about going broke trying to maintain it?

I mean you can probably finance a rare/collector car with very little collateral, if any, Lambos included.

You need decent dosh in reserves ($450k should be more than enough for most luxury cars), and you need good credit, and you need decent cash flow (i.e. you're not blowing your entire wad on a mortgage/CC/student debt).

So long as you have a good credit score, people will bend over backward to sell you whatever you want. It's up to you to be responsible about it, but you could probably get away with some $0-down loans on a lambo if you really wanted to - but remember there is no such thing as a passive real asset investment. Purchasing any physical product/good requires some level of ongoing investment in the form of maintenance to secure that good and/or take care of it.

Not saying you should view a lambo as an investment, just saying - it will take time energy and money to keep it functioning, so think about how much you really want a lambo vs. how much you want just the social status.

20mm? Why wait that long?

I will say the 911 is a great driving car - probably better than most mid-00s exotics.

That said, if I were going for attention I'd probably go with either a gigantic 60s monument-to-excess landyacht like a Lincoln Continental, or a uniquely optioned BMW M8 or something.

Lambo are shit, they're not comfortable, you can't use them for any daily commute and you will always fear to scratch them whenever you enter a city.

There is a reason Porsche are the most sold supercars in the world: you can use them like if they were normal cars.

Financially speaking, you are just throwing money in the trash bin, so I'd only buy a luxury car if I had enough money to live my entire live comfortably and not feel any dent in my portfolio. So, at least 10 million or so. If you want to show off it's always possible to do so with actual assets that don't sharply depreciate over time. The cutoff varies from person to person, but spending 1/4 of your worth on a car is 100% bling nigger tier.

Maintenance isn't as horrible as you think on these honestly. And if you're buying 6-9 years old the depreciation is mostly over and will stay relatively stable.

Where money's concerned cost of ownership is mostly made up of depreciation. If you can negate that by buying a 8 year old example and all you have to worry about is maintenance these really aren't that unreasonable to keep up with. Assuming you're not daily driving, which any reasonable person wouldn't want to.

>> No.16066898

You fkn phaggots talking about "the 911 looks like any Porsche...." need to be rounded up and shot.

Don't be a simp and buy a flashy car just because you want to get laid. Women know nothing about cars anyway. Buying a used Mercedes is enough to get you, women, if you pathetically need to go down that route.

Now if you actually want to drive a sports car, the best sports car on earth get a gt3 or a used gt2rs and thank me later.

And no the thunderous earth-shattering noise that comes out of that engine when you make a right on any street, makes everyone within distance know that this isn't any ordinary Porsche.

Also, you won't be a fag in a shitty lambo.

The ratio should be like 1/10 of your net worth if you want to buy a depreciating asset like a car.

The point is that with Lambo is a complete differente story. They have abnormal maintenance cost.
So, even if you look for second ha s Lambo you still better have a 1/10 ratio of the brand new value.
Long story short, you need at least a net worth of $3M before even thinking about buying a Lambo, new or used.

Side note Gotham has GPS notification warnings if you take their cars to any racetracks at least within the tri-state area. Lambo huracan or any other lambo than an Aventador seems cheap. New Aventador costs $350k I think. If you aren't making at least 350k a year, then no point in buying it. At $1m net worth generating 100k a year I would buy some $30k BMW, Mercedes or an Audi. I got to drive a BMW 750li 2009 300kW and god damn the acceleration was already god tier. Really good looking car as well, a lot of people looking at it. I think the real reason most of us want a brand new 100k+ car is for the attention, while a $30k-$50k will do the job just fine. With used cars, you can sell them and buy another one without losing a lot of money due to depreciation.

Either you spend $1 million on a new lambo or you spend $1 million on an old lambo because of maintenance. You also need to live in a house with a garage and good security system, preferably in a nice neighborhood too.
It will be the worst "investment" in your life because you are spending 1/4th of your networth on an expensive toy which you won't even get to drive very often unless you want to spend the rest of your money filling the oil tank every few hundred miles.
In another words, use the 450k to make 3 millions minimum and then buy the lambo without worries.
