They are a PnD crew and they have very special tactics.

1. Identify low MC shitcoin and use a bot to accumulate dirt cheap and craft a story just smart enough to fool stupid investors such as people who buy based on low effort shilling and groupthink. These investors won't do any DD and have no interest or understanding of basic business fundamentals. For example they pump DAG which lost their entire $33M presale investment being brainlet wannabe businessmen. They must attract people who can be persuaded this doesn’t matter, so only the dumbest investors are targeted.

2. Now with loads of cheap shitcoin in their wallet they figure out the roadmap over the next few months and try to identify announcements they can pump. Often times they are working directly with the executive team as a "marketing partner". They spread misinformation and overstate every piece of news. For example with DAG they pumped the USAF “Partnership” but in reality it was nothing more than a Phase 1 SBIR research grant received by 400+ other companies on the same day.

3. Start pumping the overhyped announcement directly in their telegram channel, Biz, Twitter, and Reddit. Begging people to market buy and HODL because they will be rich. Create 20-30 accounts and manufacture excitement and anticipation, lots of talk about "what if" 1000x EOY, just bought 100k, this is the best tech I've seen, code looks amazing, this solves X, lots of technical talk about nodes, validation, security, etc.

4. Low IQ investors start buying because it looks like a whole group of super smart investors all believe in it. They convince them to market buy and they themselves market buy to keep the fraud looking legitimate. Volume substantially increases out of nowhere and they claim its whales manipulating the token but in reality its just Satsgang using their massive stack, creating fake buy/sell walls and hand holding all the idiots in telegram and biz by telling them exactly whats going on and controlling the narrative as well as the token price.

5. Once they realize there isn’t much news in the future they really press the hype up. Meanwhile they have been dumping the entire time into the buy orders of the low IQ brainlet investors. You will find in all the tokens they have been involved in, when analyzing the etherscan data there are massive wallets in SE Asia that dumped. This has happened in every single case, dumped to ATL and massive exit to SE Asian wallet.

You may recognize these TG handles: Lucky, RNO3xx, Bazerka, Cryptfaux, Dagchad Headroom, Denny Da Rocket, Denny Dagins, Sonic The Hedgehog, Tehmoonwalker, Beef, Rich, Tri Gemma but there are about 50 more that come in and out to completely agree with them and even parrot what they say.

There's plenty of absolute shit coins far to high up on the ladder already, so the idea that a single project needs to become indespensible and rule the future society several projects claim they want to be part of is nonsense.

Any project can make moderate to large amounts of money simply by offering something simple, and does not need to conquer all. The all or nothing mentality is really the driving force behind the instability of the crypto market and is responsible for the fall of decent projects to below where they deserve to be and rise of absolute shit coins.

I haven't looked into all the projects being lambasted in this thread, but SENT, DAG, VIDT, Fantom all have something competitive to offer, though nothing amazing with the exception of Fantom if they manage to pull of what their aiming for. ONE and LIT though appears to be shitty and mishandled projects it would be foolish to put too much into.

Point I am making is that there is a difference between a project being a scam and shills and groups jumping on different bandwagons and trying to artifically pump the price of the coin they've thrown in behind; either because of genuine belief in the project or just a way to make a quick buck through PnD false rumor milling.

If you slap a scam sticker on something just because any one project got people stupidly and recklessly shilling for it with false news and bullshit then all of crypto is a scam. Shilling and fudding is a part of the game and a part of having investment open to the public in as unregulated market as this one, who want to pump the shit they're invested into.

I just wanted to add that a project isn't necessarily dead or a scam because it didn't moon instantly or a lot of hype turned into nothing. I agree with what you are saying. I guess my point is that most blockchains are useless because they don´t serve a purpose. Most of the use cases people are hyping up, can centralized databases, aws servers or private blockchains do better. If someone say, "oh many businesses are gonna line up to use this public chain then that´s probably bullshit". The point of a public chain is trustlessness and censorship resistance, and bitcoin and eth already do that. Sure, you can get something faster, but there won´t be too many new ones filling this space. Point being is that most shitcoins don´t fill a niche where a public blockchainn is needed at all, but only are in the space to surf on blockchain hype. If a blockchain has less than xyz number of nodes, making it centralized, than it is useless.

Most chains become more and more centralized over time, and I don´t see Dag, vidt, one, or any other of these shitcoins accomplishing that. Not enough people are gonna be interested to get on board, or put in the effort it takes to create a truly decentralized network. Making a chain faster than eth doesn´t mean anything if the chain is centralized and does not have a big ecosystem
