Losing $150,000 sucks hard, but it's not an impossible amount to make back over time. Life will be a little more difficult without it, but if you were willing to gamble it then it probably wasn't something you saw as 100% necessary. You can still enjoy life while being poor for a while. Just do something you enjoy to get your mind off of it for a while.

How did it happen exactly? Are there any lessons learned from it? That's some faint saving grace. lol Rough life experiences are a big thing for me, too. Certain break ups I've gone through I can't do much of anything for most of the day. My mornings are very hard. Just being active in general is hard amidst certain life events. Even in the latter, it’s best to die in combat against a true enemy.

Here's something to think about, eth is like 200x up from its ico and that is while being more than 80% down from its ath. So the 1000x increase was not sustainable but the 200x increase apparently is?

I was alarmingly suicidal for a good while. Went as far as looking for ways to cbt most efficiently and quick. Even choose my method. Something was holding me back tho. I had a feeling that there is more to all of this than simply indulging in pleasure, or sorrow for that matter.

That was not what I was truly looking for. I wanted nothing more than peace of mind, a deep lasting and real state which is not bound to conditions being in my favour, everyone can have peace if all is dandy and fine. But if you need specific circumstances for this to be the case you are a slave to those circumstances. That is not real peace of mind just the illusion of it. I started to read a lot of philosophy and buddhism. Read this text somewhere which describes what I mean really beautiful and down to earth:

A man was standing on the beach trying to keep the good waves and push away the bad ones. He almost went insane trying this futile task. One day he sat down and just watched the waves come and go. Peace at last.

To any anon struggling with the grasp of deep depression I truly know your pain. I was there I know what hell looks and feels like. Please believe me that there is a way out even tho you most likely will not see it at this point. Just keep on walking. I know it is tiresome. I know you think you can't go on. But you can anon. And at the end of that journey you can find something more valuable than anything else out there. True and lasting peace of mind.
