50% of all Americans are dumber than the average American.
50% are lazier than the average American.
50% are more obese than the average American
50% are uglier than the average American.

1/3 of all Americans know they are incompetent failures, decided by the birth-lottery, and hence realize that the only way for them to become financially secure in life is the off chance that their lottery ticket is the winning ticket.

You are a fool for mocking the 1/3's.

Bros, I've been looking at my local lotteries. There's one where the odds are 1 / 90 000 to win a million dollars. I'm actually quite suprised how favorable these odds are. It's not number picking, but the computer selects a random participant in the pool. I'm gonna buy a ticket bros

It's actually accurate. It's a special lottery here in Norway called Neighborhood. The machine picks a random location in Norway, and that person wins a about a million dollars. The "neighbors" aka people who live nearby can win 10k, $10k, $1k etc. The odds of winning the top prize is 1 / 90 000. I can't actually believe the odds are so in favor of the average participant.

is it a mentally unhealthy reaction to wish all of those people would kill themselves? Whenever I'm in a gas station it seems someone in front of me will be buying lottery tickets. I always am internally disgusted at them. Usually it's blue collar looking people or extremely haggard old women with voices that sound like they've been chainsmoking since the 1970s. Often they will spend unfathomable amounts of money. Every time I see this I also rub my hands together mentally, knowing that our generation will be like this but for crypto at some point. crypto is the same thing but with better odds and in your pocket. the lottery will not be able to hope to compete after the boomers die.

Yes that is mentally unhealthy. They are so down on their luck that they see the lottery as the only chance of making it; gambling can be an addiction too. You should have compassion for them desu.
