I just looked online now, a bit, US in not my focus for my business. There is definite liquidity shortage, this is common before or near a recession. Based on the fundamental market trends it's a liquidity crisis. Financial institutions that have surplus cash think they will get better deals tomorrow or next week. If everybody thinks that then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. So it's a decrees in supply the most likely reason based on the fundamentals.
