So Craig Wright actually is Satoshi, huh?
After reading his blog for the past few weeks I must say my "Faketoshi mentality" is starting to wear down. Especially after todays blogpost. He writes he made Bitcoin not to take down the government, but to stop criminality and corruption, and to open up a hole new economic world with micropayments. I like this vision and it all makes sens.

Every time I see one of these posts it sounds like the BSV group is trying to convince themselves that he is Satoshi.

The rest of us are at the side laughing at you.

He can prove he’s Satoshi in about 30 seconds but he hasn’t. Because he isn’t. It’s sad, really.

Yea no, that's not the real reason, he's just larping at that point. The real reason is he was involved in illegal gambling stuff in the 2000s and he made a lot of money through Liberty Reserve, but he realized his money was at risk of being seized because Liberty Reserve was centralized (and eventually it did get shut down), so he started thinking about creating a decentralized currency that couldn't be seized.

The guy is a walking contradiction, he pretends he created it to stop criminality/corruption yet he broke the law repeatedly in the past (there's a reason the Australian Taxation Office was after him), if he really was interested in the greater good he would have created Bitcoin with a fair distribution, yet he made it so that early adopters would have the most coins (and him being the earliest adopter he has the most coins), and now he's rich he doesn't need to break the law anymore so he wants Bitcoin to work within the law, he only cares about his self-interest, he pretends to care about others only when it can benefit himself.

He doesn't want Bitcoin to take over the world to create a better world, he wants that so he can be the richest man in the world.
