that’s how I see it, but rather “niche web browser currency.” As Brave grows and expands the uses for BAT, it slowly becomes a quicker, centralized version of what BTC could have been. Online currency used for micro transactions. That’s what I’ve always seen for BAT. The eventual advertising buy pressure is awesome but I don’t even think that’s the main appeal of BAT, it’s just a bonus.

Yep. I went through the whole KYC run-around with Uphold — not to withdraw my BAT personally, but just because I’m a big fan of the project and wanted to connect my verified Brave creators wallet and my Brave wallet (can now use all BAT tipped to me directly from my browser, which is cool)

It took some time and I hate giving up private information. The more they can streamline and centralize that process the better, but at the moment it’s slow and clunky, I imagine in order to stay on the right side of US law.

The ads are getting much better just over the last few months. Just had Amazon pop up twice over the last 15 mins or so.

BAT is making a hell of a statement and is making an impact already. What will be interesting is how Google responds. They rake 70%+ of all ad profits and I doubt they want to give that up anytime soon, even if they lose users to Brave. Can't wait for their VPN and new wallet improvements. I should've bought yesterday but hopefully that dip comes soon so I can get 2k or so.

Pic related is you if you hold 2,500 bat you will be holding about 15 times the maximum amount that could ever be possibly held by each CURRENT monthly active user.

Now imagine it being natively intergrated into Mozilla Firefox. Or added as an additional chrome extension.

Hundreds of millions of customers and suddenly there is only 2.75 BAT for every customer. Suddenly people start receiving .0001 BAT per ad and that will be well worth enough money to receive the ad because this is going to be so fucking huge.
