I want to invest in Bitcoin, but I'm broke. I have a fair credit rating, but I'm unemployed. I'm in Canada.

Do I have a hope in hell of getting a loan, even for a low figure like $10k?

Qaddafi unrelated.

please don't get a loan and invest it into a highly volatile commodity. sure we all think bitcoin is going up, but can you afford to lose 10k and owe 15% interest on it when you're unemployed and broke?

no.
banks only loan money to people that don't need it.

sorry.

I own nothing and have no employment prospects. I have nothing to lose.

How do I convince them I don't need it? Could I say I want to take an undergrad course in the humanities?

make more than enough money to pay it back or offer them one of your assets worth more than $10k as collateral.

they aren't persuaded by promises in my experience.

I have no assets for collateral.

Open to any suggestions.

ask a friend or relative.
banks aren't in the business of giving loans to people that can't pay them back.

Already went that route. No dice.

Are there any options besides banks for small loans? Even 5k?

credit cards, pawnshops, payday loans.

I'm guessing if any of those worked for you you'd have already tried them though.

Personally I'd get a job.

if you followed your plan you'd have 10k to lose. then you would lose your fair credit rating.

what in the fuck are you thinking anon?

Never loan money when you don't have any savings. Anyway they won't lend money to anybody that has 0$ in his bank account IMO.

What are you an invalid and quadruple amputee? Even then, you can probably find work in customer service.

What kind of pitiful, defeatist faggot are you?

This is why you will always be poor. You have the reasoning skills of a poor, dumb-fuck. So why Bitcoin? Why not borrow 10k and invest in a bunch of coke and heroin? I bet you'll be a really popular guy, and get lots of blowjobs for a few days at least.
