Letters: sadly they are nearly irrelevant nowadays. A combination of bestselling and a modicum of critical acclaim.
Pilots must be captain for a major on a long haul route and be in charge of the line training or consult for a crash investigation agency.

Sports: must obliterate the competition for several years.
music; if pop music must be on track to net 50mm+ if classical must be soloist and tour intl. or guest conduct orchestras intl.

Those are the people that get respect, power and have an influence in the world. real actionable influence.

100% owned business. As in a businessman who owns 2-3 real estate buildings and owns all the stock he has, debt free. Nothing but profit for the future, and that profit is used to replenish stock.
