>What are some of the major trends in the financial services industry?

I got asked this in an interview recently and had 3 minutes to answer. Can anyone help me out?

I talked a lot about the decline of hedge funds but that already took up 2.5 minutes and for the final 30 seconds I sped through more M&A work. I couldn't even cover the accountancy or insurance firms.
