This is true(ish). But let's re examine where we're at. We have bank like Santander that can now issue bonds on a public blockchain. That is not insignificant. It's not "if" anymore. Banks are going to have to start following suit. There is going to be too much money to be made for them.

I mean think about it. The amount of benefit that banks can get from selling these bonds on Ethereum greatly supersedes the way they do business now. Not only are they getting exposure to a shit fuck ton of more possible buyers, they will get a cost savings from issuing the bonds on Ethereum too.

This is happening. If you're a bank and you're don't start doing this you are going to get btfo buy those that do.
