Well generally Pittsburgh is a low wage city in an area that recently had a large housing price increase. Historically low housing prices that justified the low wages. So basically the city isn't that affordable anymore. Population age job growth is miniscule.

Not to say the city doesn't have good parts. But it depends what you are after. Museums, zoo, sports, amusement parks sure.

There’s no way actual APY comes anywhere close to this, is there? It’s gonna be .05% or something, like every savings account, right?

I’m trying to think of the downsides, but it’s debit, and when they sweep it from the SPIC accounts, it’s to FDIC accounts, so there shouldn’t be a problem with my money just disappearing right? Unless there’s some fuckery that goes on in the process.

This is making me seriously doubt the plan to switch everything over to Schwab. Well played, sirs you’ve done the needful...

Is anyone here playing Google earnings next week?

They are supposed to beat expectations, and I want to buy OTM calls before earnings day, however I'm not sure which expiration date to buy?

My goal is to sell the calls later that day after they announce earnings, not to hold onto them.

The later expiration you buy the less risk. Same with if you buy more in the money. Personally I would just buy way OTM earliest expiry possible. I think they’re gonna fucking kill it.

I wanted to play googles earnings too since my ad revenue has been up double the past couple of months. I guess the rumors have spread already though. I wont gamble on their earnings unless they’re below 1250$ though. Pissed I didn’t invest sooner now oh well

Buy long term options on a relatively cheap stock to go up in price at least a few months in the future. Chances are you'll lose money but if you don't, keep doing this. You can sell the option before the expiry date. If you can make a percent at least every few days you're golden. Keep adding money and eventually invest your profits in something like risky.
Also get a better job/get a job you lazy neet.
