I am actually really interested in this.

How do you come up with an idea? Every time I think of something, i google it and it already exists.

I have had an entrepreneurial itch lately but I dont even know where to start

That's good, you can steal other people's business models without going through the pain of figuring out how to make it work.

Tile anon here. I make about $50 per hour net for tile jobs. Very simple to start a contracting business. Tons of things you can do and you only need a few things to get started. I'll make about 70k this year and i only work like 35 hours a week.

You don't have to reinvent the wheel. You'll strike gold with a business that is actually quite common with your own spin to it. This idea that you must have a novel never seen before idea is just nonsense. Just go for it.

engineering for process industrial plants that contain dangerous acids. Selling proyects and products like pipes, pumps, sheets.
>how much
depends if we win proyects or not. Sometimes around 20k/100k a month sometimes 0 and we have to survive till the next proyect but its getting better.

Most businesses are local so you can just copy best practices from industry leaders, and shit on your competition.

F500 executives aren't going to be able to compete with you. Stepping down to your level will actually hurt their brand, and they have massive corporate overhead.

For example, if I start a cement company, I can outbid almost every big company on projects, and guarantee higher quality work as well. Large companies are forced to hire unqualified applicants due to labor laws, and can't fire anyone.

I can build better relationships with local suppliers, builders, and contractors.

They literally have no chance, and I can undercut them with pajeet prices to land work, until they eventually cut their losses and move out of the area, which Ieaves me with a monopoly in a small subsection of the market.

>Stubby legs & long torso, brown hair and eyes, humongous ego (modeling job)

No matter what business you start, it's best to have a very critical eye and spot all the trouble ahead of time. Everything will take twice as long and cost 2-3x. If you are trying something original, you have a 90+% chance a failure. If you try something unoriginal and don't strive to do it in an excellent fashion, you have a 90+% chance of failure. If you start a business down a well traveled path and put in lots of effort and hire the right people, you have a 50% chance of making it more than 3 years. Being a successful entrepreneur means starting enough businesses to overcome the failure rate and find something that works. Most people can't handle the burden and are more comfortable being a wage slave. Good luck fren

Nobody cares about it.

Make it real or stay stuck.
