Today's wagecucking is, dare I say it, quite demoralising.

I am new to my job and have so little to do, partly because knowing how to do anything takes experience and contextual knowledge that I lack. And many of the projects I see are kind of inconsequential and involve shitloads of meetings and paperwork to change boring processes. And my lunch break ends in two minutes. I literally talked to someone next to a water cooler today.

The Staceys in the office have this dumb cake day thing and it's so excruciating when they offer me any, because to not do so would be openly admitting that I'm the office beta and everybody knows it.

I saw yesterday that Peter Hitchens has a son that's a journalist. They live such uncucked lives compared to me, without the 9 to 5 or boring work.

It's so boring. I work in an unimportant part of a giant company and most projects are near pointless.

I went to the gym last night but I was somehow so tired I couldn't do 152.5 kg squats for 5 reps. I did 7 sets of 5 just a few months ago. At least I didn't have junk food yesterday. Hopefully my fatigue is only temporary.

I looked at random LinkedIn profiles and everyone's life looks much more exciting than mine. I save barely any money each month. Remember a few months ago when I'd go for pointless walks through London? I was so uncucked and free. I already have nostalgia for those times.

I'm finding that if I leave work at 5 pm, the evening doesn't feel short, like I expected. My only issue is wasting all my free time due to a blackpill induced malaise that has lasted for over 5 years.
