There is useful blockchain technology being used by cooperations already. Bitcoin is unique solving the immutability problem, now there are industries like remittance and gaming that are already or close to using blockchain technology. Ultra is just one of the many players within the space that is offering a decentralized solution. The edge of Ultra however is that unlike Enjin and WAX it's tackling a wider scope. Immutability solves your DRM question. People are not able to copy digital assets without changing the hash of the smart contract. Rendering it useless.

The gaming community is familiar with the concept of digital currencies. This makes them very likely to be early adopters of the technology.
