What's the lease you gave her say about notice for termination? If you don't have a lease, (in Massachusetts) it's considered week to week, and you need to give 5 weeks written notice, via certified mail(even though you share a refrigerator), before terminating.

Nothing in the lease says termination, it was just a set of basic rules that can lead to early termination. My dum dum self forgot to include weapons.
