Why would a dev bother doing an exclusivity deal with Ultra? Doomed to fail. Look at the Discord Nitro store for reference, which already had millions of users at launch. Epic can do exclusivity deals because of Fortnite.

I agree on the quality of the article, the product looks promising but the main problem is getting users and games on the platform. Now there are rumours surrounding a partnership with Ubisoft. Apparently Ubisoft is not happy about their own game distribution platform so they are looking at Ultra as a solution to their problem. Seriously Uplay is rubbish and most people have the same experience using it.

Furthermore, you might not have looked into the project or else you wouldn't ask these questions but Ultra is targeting the gaming industry which is pretty large at 140B. Distributing your resources to also encompass other media would stretch the team to thin.

Blockchain is littery the structure of a distributed ledger. I think you mean why a distributed ledger. Well, the main benefit to distributed ledgers that are encrypted is the security.

Because there are more features to the native token that could not be done with a stable coin. It's a utility token not a stable coin for that reason.

I agree I think that the space is big enough for centralized solutions like Steam and upcoming decentralized solutions like Ultra. The use of blockchain technology could act as a competitive advantage so Steam should act. More competition is only good for us consumers so why would you even want to fud it? The market is also growing so there is more than enough space. There is however a trend catering towards publishers making their own distribution platform because of the huge cut Steam takes.
