so, is chainlink integral part of tcf or only optional?

Chainlink has nothing to do with TCF. TCF is related to Chainlink only in that they are both dealing with decentralized computational issues.

Attested oracles are very much part of the TCF specification.
The TCF is meant for enterprise users, so external data is basically all they'll ever want to use.

And the technical lead behind the TCF (the Intel guy) just co-wrote a huge deep dive on Chainlink's integration into the TCF: https://blog.chain.link/driving-demand-for-enterprise-smart-contracts-using-the-trusted-computation-framework-and-attested-oracles-via-chainlink/

This is the new FUD huh?

I'll make sure to read that. As far as I knew, Chainlink was a separate entity from anything TCF and only handled external data getting through the system untouched.

But when will we see some asoption !!!??? Staking !!!???
>Company X is using api-CL-eth to settle contracts.
>Anons make 10%apr on their staked tokens
Wheeeen !!!???

Chainlink uses tcf for their own implementation. They also have 3 developers contributing to the tcf open source project. So it basically doesn't mean jack shit.

The TCF is about "off-chain computations".
Oracle functionality is part of that concept since it's an important bridge between on and off-chain.

Does Sergey have any relationship to chainlink? He doesn't even wear a uniform and the chainlink uniform (blue t-shirt with hand drawn logo, loose fitting weirdo pants, and yeetzies) doesn't have flannel AT ALL in it.

Really makes you think...

The chain link team all wear uniforms except for Sergey. Sergey breaks uniform policy every time he steps out into public if in fact he is part of the team and no part of some elaborate conspiracy involving Russian Jews . Wagies will be familiar with uniforms and how management loves to get anal about that shit

Also read this TCF doc: https://wiki.hyperledger.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=16324764

It literally spells out more details about Chainlink's involvement in the TCF:
>Chainlink: 3 contributors that will contribute to the TCF's plans for how to integrate with decentralized oracles and attested oracles, which will be able to provide both TCF computations and various on-chain computations enabled by them with secure access to various key API inputs and enterprise/payment event outputs.

StainStink is not an integral part of anything.
