So I'm not a regular poster here. I'm a single mother in my early 40s. My son really likes this 4chan stuff and says he spends all his own money on cryptocurrencies. He bags groceries. Should I be worried? Or is it "cool" that he "got in" on "chain link" at "30 cent" and now has "450k" from nothing? is he being serious? i don't mind any kind of brusque rude whatever. i kind of want to get in there. no i won't show you my feet.

If you're really looking to get into cryptocurrency, I'd recommend first watching some basic YouTube videos on how crypto actually works.

I would also recommend brushing up on economics, how markets work, and just some basic math. Buy low, sell high. That sort of thing.

The rundown of Chainlink in particular and why it matters is that it allows external, real-world data to be implemented in the blockchain using smart contracts. A real-world data event happens, and the blockchain reacts accordingly.
